Professional Plone Development on Amazon

by Martin Aspeli last modified Sep 29, 2007 03:26 PM

Call me silly but ...

... this makes me a wee bit giddy. :-)

I have three more milestones to reach: I'd like to see the book in the flesh (my printed copy is still in the mail - so all of you who pre-ordered, I empathise!); I'd like to see it on, and I'd like to see it in Foyles book store in London.

As a side-note: how do you Americans put up with Compared to the UK version, there's so much noise on its pages, so much stuff going on that I find it hard to know where to look for things.

Martin, i've been calling to packpub asking if they're going to sell the book in Italy and it seems it's not... is that true or do you think there's a chance to change that ? :D

Other countries

According to[…]/book, under "where else can I buy this book", there is a reseller in Italy called Hoepli Milan that sells it (although they may not have it quite yet). I'm sure would sell to other countries s well.

Another good metric may be to look for other Packt books wherever you'd normally buy computer books. If they can get those, they should be able to get Professional Plone Development as well.

they are sending the book to italy

i've ordered it directly from packtpub site, and they had no problem to send it to Italy (free shipping!) :D

i hope to have it in my hands before the conference! :D

i'm sure it's a great job in advance Martin, congrats!!

Noise on

Us Americans are so used to marketing noise that we get uncomfortable if it's not there. We need lots of distractions encouraging us to buy things we don't need for the temporary thrill of it.
